Most of the time the programs work for the most part, still a lot of bugs and issues after being in business since February 2004, in fact they only released a stable version of AVS Video Editor 5 months ago but I wouldn't even call it stable as I have not been able to use it for a month and a half or so now. it is nice that you give a discount to repurchase the software, but again locking the license to a computer that can fail is unfair to your users, why not to a account on your website like most software and games.ĭon't waste your money or your time with this company!īeen a user and have bought 2 licence keys. So, to have them to repurchase the software when the computer fails, is like punishing them. I'm a Solution Architect and known that computers do fail all the time for reasons beyond the control of the end user. This seems like you are punishing your users for something they have not control over. If your computer crashes you have to repurchase the software! So, what you are saying is that if you computer becomes unusable and you have to replace, you have to repurchase the software. I'm happy to have this issue resolved and able to use the software for my editing projects. The software does everything they say and more. But then again free is always better if its useful.Īfter communicating the AS4You in Email they were very quick to resolve this issue, and unblock my license, and work with getting this issue resolved.

DaVinci Resolve, OpenShot, Shotcut & Kdenlive are all 100% free open source as an alternative to AVS Video Editor which some of which is even better. Because those of us that have bought your software & had to deal with you know exactly how you really are. So I am perfectly fine but I am not changing my post here for you AVS even when you pretend to care with your responses. I have no use for these clowns & have now found a much better free open source to their video editor. I bought the all in one a while back now at which point their so called 1 computer for the life of that computer didn't exists & then when you need to get your key rearmed they make excuses then said that they only allow one pc for life. No one will do that if they game or have need to keep their computer & or hardware up to date. Telling someone the key is lifetime then charging them again because they bought or built a new computer is just not a reasonable request on any level.
